Everyone has certain favorite elements about fashion. Some like pumps, some like flats. Some like bodycon, some like empire line. Some like halter, some like strapless.....and the list goes on and on. So, here are my 5 most FAVORITE fashion elements:
1. Lace: Very feminine and elegant. Can show off skin without being vulgar. Has been prevalent since time immemorial and will continue to be. Eyelet Lace skirts, dresses, tights and tops are so IN nowadays! Especially since it features prominently in Kate Middleton's wedding gown.
2. Ruffles/frills: These detailings come in handy when you want to spice up a solid color dress. It looks flattering on everyone and adds that star to the outfit. Really awesome. PS: Princess Diana's wedding gown boasted of frills....
3. Quirky prints: Apart from the well known polka dot, floral, pinstripes and paisleys there are a lot of unusual prints that are a must-have. Think sailboats, Birds, Hearts, insects, Bows, Horses and even Ice cream!! These quirky prints surely make heads turn!
4. Vintage: From high waists to pencil skirts to bustiers to mod dresses.... I absolutely LOVE everything that is vintage. Silhouettes from the past era sure interest me a LOTT! And the vintage jewelry? That is something you have to see to believe. Just wonderful!
5. Wedges: Last but not the least, I am obsessed with wedge shoes....They are just bloody COOL! Whether they have ankle straps, or are oxfords, or floral, or have t-straps, or peeptoe....Wedges rock my world!
